A home on Orchard Avenue in Cambridge is a complete loss after an early morning fire.

Assistant Chief of the Cambridge Fire Department, Rick Long says, a fire broke out in the two story, vacant home around 5:45 am. No one was injured in the fire and it did not spread to neighboring homes. The Cambridge Fire Department and mutual aide from Castle Station had the fire under control in about an hour. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
