Community Bank bids at Auction

The Festival of Trees is going on Friday and lots of people are bidding all day long on their favorite Christmas decorations.
Bidder Randy Bankes of the downtown Zanesville Community Bank says they like to bid to help out their customers.

"We appreciate them dealing with us so we try to return that favor to them by buying their trees or their wreaths stuff like that,"  Randy Bankes from The Community Bank said.

Bankes says the items they win the bank then gives away at their Christmas party.

"It's the spirit of Christmas," Bankes said.

He says he's been coming here for about 15 years.

"We come here number one it's a very good thing for the community number two it does help our business relationships with our customers and me and myself I'm just a Christmas person," Bankes explained.  The event is being broadcast on AM1240 radio and streamed live on whiznews.com.  It runs until 6:00 pm.
