The Zanesville High School choirs are preparing for an array of musical entertainment tomorrow night.
It's the annual holiday concert, which will be held in the auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
Yet, about 40 of those students and their choir director are beginning to anticipate a trip to New York City in March.
"I think for students who may want to go into some aspect of performing, that's the place to go, " says Choir Director, Judy Fowls.
Planning for the trip is already underway.
"We want to see Ground Zero. I want them to see why we live in such a wonderful country because of things that they will see there. Ground Zero...We'll see the Empire State building. We're going to get to see the musical Wicked. We just have a lot of things planned, " says Fowls.
To help with funding of the trip, the Zanesville High School choirs will be holding two important fundraisers. There will be a cookie sale at the holiday concert tomorrow night.
There will also be a recycling fundraiser this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Roosevelt Middle School. People are asked to drop off items ranging from old computers and electronics to jewlery.
