A family in Frazeysburg is trying to collect what's left of their home, after it caught fire last night.
Kelly Mcdonald was in the shower when she heard her smoke detector go off around 9:45 pm at the home at94 South State Street.

"I was at work when my wife called and said the house was on fire.  I came home and found out the Christmas tree was blazing," Renter Aaron McDonald said.

Kelly and her three week old daughter were the were only ones home at the time of the fire and made it out safely.
EMT's checked the baby and she was fine, so the three stayed at her grandmother's.
Aaron says as far as he can tell everything is pretty much destroyed.
Luckily all their Christmas presents are at his moms and they are going to try and make the best of the holidays.

"We are probably going to go somewhere else and have Christmas,"McDonald said.

"They still believe in Santa that's why we hid everything," McDonald explained.

Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
The Red Cross gave the family money for food, clothes, baby formula, and diapers.
