Licking County H1N1 Vaccines Part Of Recall

More than 900 doses of the H1N1 Vaccine in Licking County are part of a nationwide recall. The recall is not safety related
 

The Centers for Disease Control announced that manufacturer MedImmune was voluntarily recalling approximately  4.7 million doses of the nasal spray H1N1 vaccine.
 

The reason is due to the potency of the vaccine.
 

Licking County Health Commissioner Joe Ebel says individuals who received this vaccine do not need to be revaccinated and all indications are that they are fully protected against the virus.
