The Ohio State Highway Patrol had troopers out in full force over the holiday to look for drunk drivers.

The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says since noon on Christmas Eve, they arrested two people for drunk driving. Troopers say, that number is the same as last year. The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol says troopers arrested one person drunk driving. The Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol did not have its DUI arrest total available.

Also, the holidays is often a popular time for home burlargies, but the sheriff's offices for Muskingum, Morgan, Perry, Coshocton and Noble counties all say they have not received any calls about home break-ins.
