Buckeye fans got a special treat Saturday afternoon at the Colony Square Mall.
Doug Worthington, Thaddeus Gibson, Ray Small and Laurence Wilson from the Ohio State Football team were signing autographs at the Cardboard Heroes store from noon until 1:30 pm. People waited in line outside the store for the autographs to begin and OSU player Doug Worthington says it is a great experience to meet the fans that cheer their team on.
"They keep us going, the city of Columbus, just Ohio in general. We just love playing for them and just the Buckeye nation is tremendous," tells Doug Worthington.
All four of the players are headed to the NFL draft, but they are all still on cloud nine from the team's Rose Bowl win on New Year's Day.
"It was a blessing, it was a great game, we didn't have a chance with a lot of people thinking that we were going to lose and what not, so it was just great to prove the doubters wrong," says Worthington.
OSU players Kurt Coleman, Jake Ballard and Austin Spitler will be signing autographs Sunday from 12:30 til 2:00 pm at Cardboard Heroes. People can pay $10 for each player or a group price of $20 for autographs from all the players.
