Authorities have identified the body found on the side of Interstate 70 Westin Licking County.

According to the Granville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the man is 62-year-old Laurence Shelly, whose last known address was in Dublin, Ohio.

Shelly's body was found shortly after 3 o'clock Monday in a ditch off I-70 near State Route 37.

The cause of death is still unknown and the case remains under investigation.
