The New Orleans Saints are the 2009 Super Bowl Champions with a final score of 31 to 17.
Many local residents were out watching the game with friends and family, and WHIZ's Emily Baird caught up with some to see how they viewed the match-up.
"Both of them are pretty matched up in offense, " says Cambridge resident Marian Kirkbride.
"Colts have the better offense, but I think Saints have the better defense, " says Zanesville resident Cody Boggs.
Those watching the game at Buffalo Wild Wings were divided over which team they were rooting for.
"I don't really care about the Colts, but the Saints, yeah...it's awesome, " says New Concord resident Kerry Boudnick.
"Yeah, the Colts more, of course, " says Kirkbride.
"It's exciting for the Saints. Yeah, it's the first time. 44 years waiting, " says New Concord resident Dani Wildermuth.
Michael and Marian Kirkbride are Colts fans and they were sitting at the same table as Boudnick and Wildermuth, who are Saints fans.
"What's it like to sit at a table with Colts fans? Oh, they're buying (awesome!) they're buying, so everything's fine, " says Boudnick.
Others, like Dawn Mercer, were hoping for a different team to have made it to the Super Bowl.
"My husband's a Jets' fan. So, we lost a couple weeks ago, " says Mercer.
So, she was out watching the Super Bowl for a different reason.
"Needed a girl's night out, " says Mercer.
Mercer was out with friend, Cyanne Huffman, who says she wasn't really rooting for either team.
"I don't care. I'm just here for the beer, " says Huffman.
I'm Emily Baird for WHIZ News.
