Licking County Common Pleas Court Judge Thomas Marcelain says 28-year-old Matthew Craig is incompetent to stand trail.

Craig was accused back in October of setting two fires in Newark and was charged with one count of arson and one count of aggravated arson.

Marcelain says based on evidence that was presented in court, he determined that Craig has a severe mental illness and didn't not understand the charges brought against him. So, Craig will go through treatment for six months to help restore his competency.

Marcelain also says Craig posed signs of being a danger to himself or others, so he was ordered stay at Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare in Columbus.
