The Coshocton City School Board is approving the resignation of one of its high school teachers.

Superintendent David Hire says Jennifer West submitted her resignation for personal reasons.

West is no longer teaching at the high school but will continue to be paid and receive benefits through June 30th.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office says it investigated an incident involving West and an 18-year-old male student, who claimed he was kissed at a private residence back in December. West was never charged by deputies in connection with the incident.
