The Zanesville Highway Patrol has released more details from a fatal accident that claimed the life of a 13-year-old girl near Frazeysburg. Troopers say the victim is now identified as Alison Clark of Dresden. She was a passenger in a car driven by 37-year-old Amy Caplinger, also of Dresden. The highway patrol says Caplinger was driving east on Raiders Road, when another car, driven by 20-year-old Zakery McCloud of Dresden was traveling west on Raiders Road, tried to pass a third vehicle, and slammed head-on into Caplinger. It happened around 5:15 Monday afternoon. Both Caplinger and McCloud were injured and taken to Grant Medical Center in Columbus. Troopers say no decision has yet been made on charges in the accident.

Tri-Valley Middle School Principal Jennifer Penczarski says counselors have been brought into the school to help the students with the death of their classmate.
