Traffic Cocaine

A 21-year-old is charged with trafficking cocaine after a drug bust Monday night.

If convicted, Marcus Moore could face eight years in prison.

"It's just another one off the list of cases we've been working on. As I've said prior, we have a lot of names in front of us that we know are involved in illegal drug activity. It just comes to the point where things come up, and we're able to take those things, run with them, and put them with other things, " says Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz.

Lutz says Moore and three other individuals were pulled over in the Zane State College parking lot and taken into custody. The three passengers were released after questioning, but the investigation continues.

"There's still a lot of thing, maybe small search warrants that we'll do on a different things as far as phones and property that we'll look for. If anything develops out of there, there could be other charges, " says Lutz.

His office took about 366 grams of cocaine into custody, which is worth about 73 thousand dollars.
