Accident Sends Four to Hospital

An accident on State Route 60 injures four people including a small child.

According to Trooper Todd Henry with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, around 5 p.m. near the Homestead along State Route 60.

20-year old Amanda Myers was pulling out of a private driveway on to State Route 60, when a Navy Alero, driven by Andrew Parrish struck the vehicle.

The drivers and two passengers were all transported to Good Samaritan Hospital, treated and released, including the child who was not in a car seat.

Myers was cited with failure to yield and failure to use a child restraint.
