Operation Feed Baby Shower

No parent wants to see their child go hungry.

With money tight these days, taking care of a baby can be expensive.

"As you know with each year and more and more jobs lost there are more families needing help. With Operation Feed and with the baby pantry we are helping supply those needs for the babies" says Carol Morgan with Operation Feed.

The Operation Feed Baby Pantry supplies formula, food, diapers, and several other needed items. To raise money for the baby pantry volunteers stood outside Riesbeck's Pick 'N Save in South Zanesville selling baby items. The volunteers say they feel good knowing they are helping fight hunger in Muskingum County.

"It makes us feel very great and people just seem like they are so anxious to help and I think it is so important for the babies and we are really grateful they are here helping us today," says Peggy Orecchio with Operation Feed.

Operation Feed helps supply the Muskingum County Hunger Network food pantries and hot meal programs. You can drop off food donations or baby items to the Community Action Building on Lee Street or the Sunrise Senior Center.
