The city of Zanesville is wrapping up its second and final public hearing for Formula and Neighborhood Revitalization Grants.
It's required that citizens participate and give their input in deciding how to prioritize activities for the grants.
"They have concerns about items that may not be qualified as eligible activities. Many times they want to talk about curbs and sidewalks where those might be the responsibility of the homeowner, " says Community Development Director, Stacy Clapper.
The grant applications are due June 25th.
Zanesville City Council members also voted to approve an ordinance that would give the city the right to apply for the grants and list those eligible activities.
