No Change In Morgan County Recount

The Morgan County Board of Elections today conducted a recount involving a race from the May Primary. Officials say the recount occurred in the race for County Commissioner and nothing changed from election night. Here are the numbers from today’s recount…Timothy Van Horn – the winner with 736 votes….Michael Chapin with 730 votes and Carl Raines with 620 votes. On a related note Board of Election officials say the also will recount the votes in the 18th Congressional District primary race. That will happen next Tuesday June 1st at 2:00 in the afternoon.
