Arrest Made in Attempted Break-In

Zanesville Police make an arrest in a Thursday morning attempted break-in.

Lt. Bill Shaw says that around 2am police responded to a report of breaking glass on Moxahala Avenue. Officers found a window had been broken out of the Disabled American Veterans Building at 428 Moxahala Avenue.

Police located 38-year-old Isaac Washington III a short distance away on Adams Street. Washington is on probation and found to be out past curfew.

He was taken into custody for a probation violation and then further evidence was found on him linking him to the attempted break-in.

Zanesville Municipal Court offiicals says Washington entered a not guilty plea today and a hearing was set for July 21st.
