Five in Court After Prostitution Sting

Five women arrested following an undercover operation appeared in Zanesville Municipal Court Tuesday.

Lt. Tony Coury says the women were arrested Monday evening when undercover officers conducted a prostitution sting.

According to court records, Courtney Coen pled guilty to one count of soliciting and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Judge William Joseph gave her a 500 dollar fine and 45 days in jail with the condition of no repeats for two years. April Martin pled guilty to one count of soliciting. She received a 300 dollar fine and 60 days in jail.

Stacy Taylor pled not guilty to a charge of soliciting. Shelly Moore pled not-guilty to charges of soliciting and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brandie Storie pled not guilty to soliciting, possession of drug paraphernalia, and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle. Those three women will have hearings on July 23rd.
