A 13-year-old Muskingum County boy admitted in court to shooting his brother to death.

Michael Roger Hulsey Jr. of Philo  was to appear in Muskingum County Juvenile Court Wednesday morning for a suppression hearing.

But instead, Court Director Dan Kieffer says Hulsey entered an admission of guilt in the death of his brother, 3-year-old Shannon Harrop Jr.

The shooting took place at the boys home on Back Run Road on April 21.

The Judge found Hulsey delinquent of one count of reckless homicide with a gun specification and one count of possession of drugs.

Kieffer says the Judge is considering a sentence that could keep Hulsey in Juvenile Detention until he is 21-years-old.
