One of the areas biggest rivals are going head to head.
The Zanesville Blue Devils and the Newark Wild Cats participated in a UCA cheerleading camp this week and Wednesday had a cheer off.
"They definitely will go at in the the competition but they are all being very friendly and it's a good chance them to learn sportsman ship but that rivalry is still there," Zanesville Cheerleading Head Coach Stephanie Jones said.
After the three day cheerleading camp the girls get to show off what learned and who has the better team.
"At the beginning of the year having a camp like this is a great way for the new teams to bond together and to start the year with brand new fresh material like the cheers and the dances and the sidelines," Jones said.
Jones said it's the forth year they've hosted the UCA Cheer Camp.
