Z-ville Man Charged In Business Break-Ins

Zanesville Police says a local man was indicted by a Muskingum County Grand Jury for several recent break-ins to Zanesville businesses. Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says 40-year-old Robert Johnson Jr. is facing four counts of breaking and entering, two counts of grand theft and two counts of petty theft. Roush says on June 4th Johnson broke into the Valero and Certified gas stations on West Main Street. He also is accused of breaking into the Certified station on June 5th and the State Street Market on June 14th. Roush says Johnson took cigarettes in all of the incidents. Johnson is currently in the Zanesville City Jail.
