Some area golfers are helping Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge pay for one particular piece of equipment.
It's new IV smart pumps that the hospital is using to replace the older ones.
"It's more of a precaution for the patients. It's programmed in the correct dosage that they would need. So, it's a core measurement for the hospital mostly, " says Debbie Stillion of the Center's Marketing Department.
130 golfers from across the state attended the 17th annual golf outing at the Cambridge Country Club, which is slightly up from last year.
"Of course everything helps now-a-days with the finances and how they are. We've seen some up's and down's, but we're doing fairly well right now, " says Stillion.
The marketing staff is hoping to raise more than $30,000 to help pay for the final installment of the pumps.
