The Central Ohio Drug Task Force is announcing a $2 million drug bust.

According to the Task Force on Wednesday authorities discovered 2500 marijuana plants in southern Bowling Green Township in Licking County.

The plants were found during a routine flyover by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

The Licking, Muskingum and Perry County Sheriff's Departments along with the B.C.I and Central Ohio Drug Task Force worked to clear off a portion of the woods where the crop was planted. The plants ranged in height from three to eight feet.

Authorities say they discovered a camp site where whoever was taking care of the plants was staying.

They say it's unknown at this time if this drug bust is related to a $6 million marijuana crop found in Muskingum County last week.
