Two adults and two children are taken to Good Samaritan Hospital after an accident, just off Interstate 70.

It happened around 12:45 p.m.

Sergeant Jeremy Mendenhall of the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says 34-year-old Jennifer Alonzo of Fort Worth, Texas was traveling north on State Route 93. He says she attempted to make a left-hand turn onto the I-70 westbound entrance ramp and was struck head-on by a 1998 Honda Civic that was traveling south. The driver, 24-year-old Sarabeth May of Zanesville, her front-seat passenger-24-year-old Ashley Campbell of Zanesville-and two children in the back seat, ages four and five, were all taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Both car were totaled in the crash.

Mendenhall says Alonzo was cited for failure to yield.
