A Zanesville woman is injured in a rollover accident on US 40.

The incident occurred near Gratiot around 2 p.m.

Trooper Todd Henry of the Zanesville Post says 59-year-old Barbara Gillespie of Zanesville was traveling in the left, eastbound lane and attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Mounty Perry Road when she struck 71-year-old Judith King of Zanesville, who was traveling in right, westbound lane. He says the force of the impact caused King's vehicle to go off the right side of the road, overturn, and strike an embankment.

King was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with what Henry is calling non life-threatening injuries. Her car was totaled, and Gillespie's vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage.

Henry says Gillespie was cited with failure to yield when turning.
