Two Arrested on Drug Charges

The Central Ohio Drug Task Force and the Perry County Sheriff's Office have two women in custody following a three-month-long investigation.

According to the Sheriff's Office, authorities arrested 46-year-old Tomma Ellis of Junction City and 31-year-old Melissa Taylor of New Lexington Thursday for trafficking in prescription drugs in front of children.

Deputies seized an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs, money and two vehicles. The women are being held in the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail and are facing several felony charges.
