The Zanesville Fire Department will continue flushing fire hydrants on Wednesday.

The following areas will be affected:

• Wednesday Oct. 20:  Lenox Avenue, Forest Avenue, Ashland Avenue, Adair Avenue, Blue Avenue, Newark Road and Ohio University/Zane State

Work will start at 7:30 a.m. and should be completed by 2:30 p.m.

Residents in these areas may experience discolored water and reduced pressure.

It is advised to wait until after 4:00 p.m. before doing laundry.
