Dispatchers from the Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol say a driver is in serious but stable condition after an accident on State Route 37 in Licking County.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. just south of Deeds Road. They couldn't comment on the logistics of the accident but did say it involved a car and a semi truck. The driver of the car was transported by Medflight to OSU Medical Center in Columbus.

The road was temporarily closed as crews worked to clean-up the scene, and state troopers diverted traffic for about an hour.

We'll bring you more information as it becomes available.
