It is General Election day and voters are heading to the polls to help decide important races and issues.  Turnout is being called steady today.

18th Congressional Democratic Incumbent Zack Space is out visiting voters Tuesday. Congressman Space said he's focused on the election and what he can do for the district tomorrow regardless of today's outcome.

"The beautiful thing about this job is that it's given me a chance to really give back to my community in ways that are meaningful and that is important to me. For me to be able to know without regard to with what others may think but to know in my heart that we may have helped a family that may have had to rely on the services of Christ Table soup kitchen, that means something to me and this job is a great avenue or vehicle to accomplish things like that. If I can't do it through this job I'll find other ways to do it," Congressman Space said.

The polls close Tuesday at 7:30 pm. Whiz News will have all the results from our seven county region throughout the night on Whiz T-V, AM 1240 Radio and 92.7 FM Radio and this Website...Whiznews.com
