Thousands gathered along the Maysville Pike Sunday to watch the annual South Zanesville Holiday Parade.
The Parade highlighted creativity with a variety of uniquely designed floats. This year they even introduced a new theme.
"But this year really seemed to get people going. It was a Wild West Christmas. Almost everybody got into the feel of it. I think everybody likes the country theme, the music, the decorations, the floats, they were absolutely phenomenal," said Mollie Crooks, President, Zanesville South Business Association.
Classic cars, motorcycles, dance groups, area churches, and many others dominated the Maysville Pike to not only show off their holiday spirit, but to show the thousands of spectators what Zanesville is all about.
"We look at this as a great way to kick off the holiday season, to bring people into the South Zanesville community, to introduce them to our business members. There are about 60 members of the Zanesville South Business Association," said Crooks.
The parade will air on WHIZ-TV Thanksgiving Day at 4pm.
