Local Funeral Helps Out

A local funeral home is doing its part to help The Salvation Army this holiday season.

Beginning today, The Bryan and Snider Funeral Home will be a drop off point for non-perishable food items and new unwrapped toys.  Phil Zehms, managing partner of The Bryan and Snider Funeral Home, says he is more than pleased to participate in making the holidays better for families in Muskingum County.

"In these economic times that we are having, there is a greater need probably than ever has been needed before, and as for The Salvation Army; for those that have just a little, if they can just give a little, it will make a huge impact in our entire community," said Zehms.

Zehms says The Salvation Army has been helping families for years and years, and it is time for everyone to help give back.

"Reach into your pockets, pull out those coins, that folding money, bring in cans or any other kind of non-perishable goods. Bring them here, bring them to any one of The Salvation Army drop off points and help out in whatever way you can," said Zehms.

Donations can be dropped off until December 13th at 2318 Maple Avenue in Zanesville.
