Do you know or own a business that made improvements, increased its tax base or retained jobs in 2010?
The Zanesville-Muskingum Chamber of Commerce is asking for nominations for this year's ACES awards.
The awards are meant to celebrate the economic investment that businesses and organizations have made to the community.
"This is one of the most fun time we have a year," said Chamber of Commerce President Tom Poorman. "We give out the awards at our spring break event every March, at our annual meeting. It's a great time. We have a lot of fun. Specifically we have a lot of fun and really enjoy honoring area companies."
Poorman said these awards are meant to be an inclusive event and it's important to not only honor new business but those companies that remain loyal.
"Attracting new business is very glamorous and we want to be working on that as a community, but recognizing the business that is already here for the investments and improvements that they're making is even more important."
