Fatal Crash in Coshocton County

A man is dead following a two-vehicle crash in Coshocton County.

According to the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office, around 3 p.m. 54-year-old Steven Adams of Coshocton was turning onto U.S. 36 from Township Road 104, when he failed to yield causing 73-year-old Robert Sherry Sr. of Columbus to strike him.

Sherry was traveling westbound on U.S. 36. He had two passengers in his vehicle, 45-year-old Robert Sherry Jr. of Loveland and 63-year-old William Peddicord Jr. of Newscomerstown.

All three were transported to the Coshocton Memorial Hospital, where Robert Sherry Sr. was later pronounced dead. Robert Sherry Jr. was life-flighted from the hospital to Grant Medical Center in Columbus. His condition is unknown at this time.

The accident remains under investigation.
