A local school celebrates a super end to a week honoring Catholic education.
Bishop Fenwick students spent the day dressed as their favorite super heroes. Ending Catholic Schools Week which focused on celebrating the parish, the community, the parents and of course the students.
"It makes them part owners in their school how important is to be here," Bishop Fenwick Principal Kelly Sagan. "They're here to live their mission as a Catholic to celebrate them and let them know how special they are to the world and God's community."
While the days may have been filled with fun activities like dancing every time music played over the loud speaker, it's clear students are getting the message.
"You can talk about anything you want too," said 4th Grade Student Grace Johnson. "God created us and we get to talk about Him and that's really nice."
Sagan said it was the student council's idea to have super hero day to celebrate some very super students.
