Man Charged With Stabbing Relative Arraigned

A New Concord man accused of stabbing his brother-in-law was arraigned in court Wednesday.

26-year-old David Phillips appeared before Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark Fleegle where he pled not guilty to charges of felonious assault and domestic violence.
 

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says on February 1st Phillips was arguing with his wife at their home when he stabbed her brother during an altercation.
 

Phillips is being held in the Muskingum County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
