It's never to early to start planning a summer vacation and how many times can you say you went on one with a Chief Meteorologist.
Holiday Vacations is sponsoring a trip July 9-17 that allows trip goers to experience the Canadian Rocky Mountains and British Columbia by rail.
"We have big huge picture windwos that we're looking out. We're hopefully seeing the moose and the deer," said Tour Director Karen Barkley. "I've called a head for them to come out the days that we are traveling, but you know that call ahead seating. I don't know if they show up exactly on time."
Our own Chief Meteorologist Wesley Sass will also be along for the rides as the tour takes you through Banff and Jasper National Parks, a trip to Granville Island and a wagon ride at Stanley Park. You never have to worry about your baggage.
"Once you have your baggage aboard the plane you're not going to be responsible for you baggage getting to your room," said Barkley. "That's why we're taking Wes along with. He's going to get the baggage to the rooms each day."
The price of the trip includes airfare, taxes and fuel surcharges, a tour director, all rail transportation and accomodations.
