Authorities say a head on crash in Junction City sent two people to the hospital. One of the drivers was taken from the scene by Medflight.
The accident happened just before 10:30 a.m. Friday near Junction City Elementary School.
Trooper Goss with the Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol says 57-year-old Rodney Alfman of New Lexington was traveling east on West Main Street when he went left of center and struck a Honda Accord heading west bound.
Authorities say the driver of that vehicle 52-year-old Jennifer Butcher of Junction City was trapped inside of her vehicle.
Rescuers used the jaws of life to get her out.
She was taken to Fairfield Medical Center where she was treated and released.
Alfman was taken by Medflight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus where he's listed in stable condition.
The accident remains under investigation.
