AEP is reporting approximately 3,000 people are without power in the areas of Coopermill Road, Luck, and Eppley Avenues.

AEP says the outage occured around 5:00 due to a mechanical fire at a sub station.

AEP is working to restore power to the affected residents and said electricity should be back on by 6:00 this evening.
