With the royal wedding a month away becoming a princess is on the mind of Kate Middleton but, it is also on the mind of young girls in Muskingum County.

Saturday at Colony Square Mall little princesses took part in a princess party. Tickets to the party were $10.00 and proceeds go to the Southeastern Ohio Dance Theaters production of the Nutcracker. Last year, the event was not able to take place; this year the turn out was overwhelming and worth it.

"Just seeing every little princess walk through that castle with a smile on their face," said Jodi.

Kids could makes crowns, build a sash or take a picture with their favorite prince and princesses. Of those there were of course the infamous Disney character's Aladdin and Jasmine.

"It is so much fun to be out here and just seeing the little ones faces is rewarding and it is for a great cause and we are glad to be here," said the characters.

Princesses ranged in age from tiny tots to ten year olds and each one had on a special dress. This is the theaters biggest fundraiser of the year.
