The Perry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the discovery of the body of a female in a ditch Thursday morning. Sergeant Kevin Starrett says it happened near 6705 Ceramic Road in Crooksville. The victim is identified as 42-year-old Loria Chevalier of Roseville.  Starrett says it is still unclear how Chevalier ended up in the ditch.   The Sheriff's Office got a 9-11 call from some drainage workers who were in the area around 8:00 am. Starrett says the body has been taken to the Licking County Morgue for an autopsy to help determine the cause of death. The Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation is helping with the case.  Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Sergeant John Russell at 740 342-4123 ext-226.
