The community is coming together to support the Zanesville Blue Devils.

Forever Dads and the Quarterback Club hosted the Past Presidents 40th Anniversary Celebration. It was held on Monday at the North Terrace Church of Christ.

"We've brought in Mark Dantonio, the Head Coach from Michigan State who was a former Zanesville Blue Devil to come and speak with us and celebrate 40 years of being involved actively with the football program at Zanesville High School," said 2005 QB Club President Mike Alfman.

Sales will benefit the Blue Devels. Alfman thinks the team will do well this year despite losing a core group of players.

"It's amazing Coach Grandstaff seems to whip them all in to shape with the help of the other coaches, they get them pretty fired up so I think they'll have a good season this year," he said.
