Local Man Sentenced on Felony Drug Charges

A Zanesville man who plead guilty last month to felony drug charges receives his sentence in court Monday.
 

Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Kelly Cottrill sentenced 33-year-old Timothy Johnson to four years in prison on charges of trafficking and possession of crack cocaine and cocaine.

Johnson was arrested in July of 2010 after the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office made a scheduled stop on Maple Avenue.

A search warrant was also executed at his Muirwood Village apartment where deputies found 1,000 grams of cocaine and 100 grams of crack cocaine.
