Bishop Rosecrans scores big with mouthwatering meals this weekend.
Sunday, the Bishops Athletic Association held a drive thru chicken dinner fundraiser. Former Ohio State Buckeye and Cambridge native, Terry White, works for Nelson's the company that cooked the meals.
"It gives me great pleasure," said White. "The children are our future and Nelson's is owned by a ministry that helps guys struggling with homelessness and drug addiction get their lives back together. It's a win/win situation and a blessing for me."
Money from Sunday's even goes towards the athletic teams.
"It's essential to paying coaches and just being able to raise funds for whatever we need through Rosecrans High School, " said Head Boy's Basketball Coach Todd Rock. "You know we have the BA and the Boosters that do a wonderful job fundraising to do what we want to do for our athletes."
Over 200 chickens were sold and some that had purchased meals even came back for a second helping.
