The Zanesville Highway Patrol says the westbound lanes of I-70 were shut down early Wednesday morning after two semi tractor trailers were involved in an accident. It happened just before 3:00 a.m. two miles West of New Concord. Troopers say 42-year-old Timothy Lindquist of Mountain Home, Nebraska failed to maintain assured clear distance and struck another semi in front of him. That truck was driven by 44-year-old Santos Ernesto of Miami, Florida. Troopers say the drivers and one passenger suffered minor injuries. Lindquist was cited by the patrol. The highway was shut down from just before 3:00 am until around 7:30 this morning.
