Two of the defendants from an active meth lab bust in Zanesville in May enter guilty pleas in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court. Elizabeth Barnett of Zanesville pled guilty to attempted illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for manufacture of meth and endangering children. Josh Nelson, also of Zanesville, pleads guilty to the same charges. Judge Kelly Cottrill ordered a pre-sentence investigation in both cases. On May 4th five people were arrested after the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office says it discovered a meth lab at 343 Linn Street. Two children were also found at the scene the day of the bust. The other defendants must still make their pleas in court.
