A local man who admitted to leading authorities on a motorcycle chase last month is sentenced in court Monday.

43-year-old Delmas Dingey of Mount Perry appeared before Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle where he was sentenced to two years of community control, he must perform 50 hours of public service as well as a mandatory 3 year driver's license suspension.

Dingey was charged with failure to comply after Zanesville Police attempted to pull him over on June 5th near the intersection of Underwood and Howard Streets.

Dingey refused to stop and lead police on a motorcycle chase that reached speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.
