One of the 5 people charged in connection with an active meth lab in Zanesville was back in court Monday. 38-year-old Misti Emmert of Zanesville pleaded guilty to illegal manufacture of drugs and child endangering. She was facing 11 different counts when she pleaded not guilty in May and a plea deal resulted in today’s action in court. Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Kelly Cottrill ordered a pre-sentence investigation in the case. All 5 suspects were arrested on May 4th during a bust on Linn Street.
