Authorities are still investigating Wednesday's fire at Zane Trace Clean Care Uniforms on Putnam Avenue.
The building is boarded up today after suffering major damage. Zanesville Fire Chief Craig Stemm said the fire no longer appears to be suspicious.
"The fire alarm went off before the burglar alarm did," said Stemm. "We probably ended up setting the burglar alarm off when we made entry down there."
The Zanesville Police Department will review the video surveillance to determine the cause of the fire. Stemm said the damage estimates are still being calculated.
Dale Johnson and his wife have owned the business for about 10 years.
"Fortunately, we've had some good customers of ours that have stepped forward this morning," said Johnson. "A couple of competitors have also taken that step forward to give us a hand."
Johnson said the fire is just a temporary set-back. He plans to be back in full operation in a few weeks.
