Man Not Guilty of Assaulting Officer

A man is found not-guilty of assaulting a police officer by reason of insanity.

53-year-old Ronald Holler of Zanesville was arrested in March after Zanesville Police responded to a call of shots being fired at a Beverly Avenue home. Authorities say when they arrived on scene Holler assaulted an officer.

Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Holler was found not-guilty of felonious assault on a peace officer by reason of insanity.

Judge Kelly Cottrill ordered a future hearing to be scheduled regarding the commitment of Holler to a facility.
